Irish Peach

An early dessert apple probably of Irish origin that is best eaten straight from the tree in August to get the best flavour because it will not keep. Juicy with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity when at its best. Apples of medium size, round with flatness at base & apex with obvious broad ribbing. It is a tip bearer producing few if any spurs.

Herefordshire Redstreak

An old variety dating back to early 1600s. Because of its high quality cider this variety helped establish Herefordshire’s reputation as a cider county. Its cider has a high alcohol content and is pink coloured.

Herefordshire Russet®

A new russet variety. The apples are round and the skin has a warm golden colour. Medium sized apples with a rich Cox like flavour.

Kingston Black

A bittersharp variety that has become to be held in high regard because of the quality of the full bodied cider that has a distinct flavour. Fruit shape can be variable but generally conical or flattened. The skin becomes heavily flushed deep red with very dark red almost black flecking or striping.

Hunt’s Duke of Gloucester

This is an excellent small dessert apple. Conical in shape the apple has bright yellow skin that is largely covered with a brownish russet with a small area of red flush on its sunny side. Of excellent flavour – sweetness with contrasting acidity.

A heavy cropping early culinary apple. Pale green skin that becomes pale yellow and has a greasy feel. Yellowish white flesh cooks to a froth.

King Coffee is an unusual name for an apple. As the apples ripen into October they become maroon coloured with its flesh sweet and juicy with a hint of coffee?
