Of all the apples we grow Howgate Wonder can produce the largest. Apples round conical in shape striped orange red. Sub acid in flavour, easily cooking to a fluff. Generally considered a culinary apple but can be eaten as a dessert apple, but probably best sliced first because of its size! Grows well in all parts of the UK.
