Whitecurrant
The Whitecurrant is a mutant or sport of the Redcurrant so grow and treat the same. Usually grown as bushes they can also be grown taller as cordons or fan trained against a fence or wall.
Grow Whitecurrants on a sort leg, planting at the same height as they were on the nursery about 1.5m (5′) apart. Grow in a sunny position in a fertile, well drained soil. Tolerant of partial shade, but fruits will ripen a little later and may not be as flavoursome as bushes growing in full sun.
We do not grow Whitecurrants ourselves but offer non organic plants.
