What Times of Year We Take Orders and Supply Trees
You can place orders from late July through to early March. We keep our availability up to date during this time. We will then contact you to arrange delivery or collection when the plants have become dormant, between late November and March. If you place and order from November onwards, it may take us a few weeks to contact you to arrange, depending on how busy we are. We can generally arrange collections faster than deliveries as there are less logistics involved.
How To Order Through This Site
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept preferably debit cards.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an order confirmation. We have included this term to protect us in the case we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In this case we will contact you to inform you of this and to discuss alternatives if they are available.

Using a Paper Catalogue and Order Form
You can download the catalogue HERE and the order form HERE. If you would prefer us to post you a printed catalogue and order form, phone us on 01905 841587 or email us. When you’ve decided what to order, send the order form to us together with your card details or a cheque payable to ‘Walcot Organic Nursery Ltd.’ We will acknowledge your order.
We are very happy for you to come and place your order in person, but we are not in the office all year. For location details and when to come, visit the Contact Us page.
Apple trees – £18.00 each
Pears & Perry Pear trees – £19.00 each
Quince & Medlar trees – £20.50 each
Plum, Gage & Damson trees – £20.50 each
Cherry trees (F.12.1) – £20.50 each
Raspberry canes – £11.00 for a bundle of 5 canes
Chuckleberry bushes – £8.50 each
Other fruit bushes – £7.50 each
All bare-rooted trees and bushes are supplied bare root from late November onwards when dormant. We will acknowledge and contact you near the time to arrange delivery or collection.
Discounts will be automatically calculated when ordering through the web site. Any mixture of different trees will work.
On orders of 5+ trees, 5% discount will be applied to fruit trees and bushes.
On orders of 10+ trees, 10% discount will be applied to fruit trees and bushes.
To ensure you receive your trees in the best condition for a successful start we:
- Aim to minimise the time between lifting and you receiving the plants.
- Pack your trees thoroughly with protective packaging with the roots kept moist.
- Include with your delivery a leaflet providing planting and cultural advice.
- Collection is welcome by arrangement.
We always try to contact you to arrange a convenient date. You do not necessarily have to be in if you have a safe place to leave the parcel.
Fruit trees are lengthy items. They are packed and delivered in 1.8m long cartons.
Carriage – £18.00
5+ trees – £21.00
10+ trees – £24.00
Carriage costs apply to England & Wales.
There is a small supplement of £2.50 for deliveries to:
- Scotland south of a line from Glasgow across to Perth & Dundee
- certain areas of Wales – Powys & Dyfed – postcodes HR3&5, LD, SY10, SY15-25 and SA14-73
Deliveries to mainland North Scotland & Highlands – postcodes AB, IV1-39, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-41 & 49 and the Isle of Wight will be charged a £15 supplement. Deliveries destined for the Isles of Scilly will be delivered to Penzance harbourside.
For deliveries to Scottish islands please contact us. We use a next day carrier service (north Scotland 2/3 days). The carrier service is excellent but we are not responsible for any delays caused by them.
We will not deliver to Northern Ireland currently due to plant passport issues.
We do not deliver to the IOM or the Channel Isles.
We do not make money on deliveries. They are sent at cost. The bulk of the price is the carrier cost. The further they have to take the delivery the more they charge hence unfortunately having to apply supplements.
An order having been placed can only be cancelled at the nursery’s discretion.
We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Your data – name, address, telephone number, email address is inputted onto secure Sage software. Customers will not be e-mailed for purposes other than processing their order without their consent. We like to keep people who have bought or shown an interest in our products informed occasionally with newsletters. We do not pass your details on to any third parties.
