Dedicated to researching and promoting organic gardening, farming and food. It offers much to members with three demonstration gardens, regular magazines, experience advice and much more.
Irish Seed Savers Association
If you are from Ireland you may be interested in the traditional varieties they grow. As a charity their remit is to protect, conserve & utilise Irish plant genetic resources including rare heritage seeds, grains, vegetables & fruit. They have the national collection of Irish apple trees and can supply a number of them.
Tamar Organics www.tamarorganics.co.uk a UK supplier specialising in organic vegetable, flower and herb seeds, fruit, onion sets, seed potatoes and garden products.

A website dedicated to the orchards of the county. Looks at fruit Worcestershire well known for – Plums, the Black Pear, Cherries and up to 25 apple varieties.
Vale Landscape Heritage Trust
A charity in the Vale of Evesham, protecting and preserving pockets of important and beautiful pieces of land. Find out more about VLHT, orchards, flood meadows and the Vale.
Walsgrove Farm
Visit here for a wide choice of plums and apples. PYO or ready picked from their recently renovated farm shop from August well into October. Unfortunately their 2019 crop is poor, but usually there is an excellent choice.
Pershore Plum Festival
Every August Pershore, our local town, goes plum crazy culminating in the Plum Fayre on Bank Holiday Monday. Click on the link to see what is happening or has happened. We will be at the Fayre on BH Monday with our stand for advice, etc.

If in the area why not visit Pershore our nearby town with its many independent shops, nice range of eating places and magnificent Abbey set in the town’s park with Bredon Hill as a backdrop. Well worth a visit.
Kemerton Conservation Trust
A registered charity which aims to conserve wildlife and places of beauty in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and adjoining counties for the public benefit. The trust has a fruit tree collection with over 200 varieties of apples.
Doddin Preservation Society (DPS)
Well known in the Redditch area this unusual small plum shaped very early eating apple was reapodly disappearing. DPS was created to bring attention to this, raise its profile and to increase its popualation. We have been involved in this as growers of the tree. Website a little dated but lots of relevant information.
