James Grieve
A very well known dual purpose apple. Medium-large sized apples are warmly coloured yellow striped with orange. Of excellent flavour, sweet with acid balance.

James Grieve is a very well known variety. The medium-large apples are warmly coloured yellow striped with orange. Excellent flavour, sweet with an acid balance. If picked early when sharp they make very good culinary apples. Round conical in shape they will not keep for a long time. Hardy and a good pollinator.
