Mirabelle de Nancy

Small round yellow fruits up to 3cm diameter ripen early August. Its yellow flesh is sweet and richly flavoured. Partially self fertile. Not often cultivated in the UK, flowering early it benefits from shelter and a warm spring.

Mirabelle Golden Sphere
St Julien A maiden (moderate): Out of stock £25.50A relatively new variety bred producing good sized yellow spherical fruits with golden flesh that is sweet with a plum like flavour. Good as a dessert fruit it can also be cooked. Though hardy like other Mirabelles it flowers early so benefits from a sheltered situation.

Introduced in 1995 it produces larger round bright red fruits with sweet orange flesh. Ripens late August and considered partially self fertile.
