Of all the apples we grow Howgate Wonder can produce the largest. Apples round conical in shape striped orange red. Sub acid in flavour, easily cooking to a fluff. Can be eaten as a dessert apple but probably best sliced first because of its size! Grows well in all parts of the UK.
Pre-trained as a single-tier espalier, this tree is ideal for growing against a wall or fence. When mature, it takes up less area than a normal bush tree. See the Espaliers product category for details. Collection only, as it’s containerised and too bulky to deliver. Unlike most of our trees, we can supply espaliers all year round if we have them in stock.
