An old bittersweet variety that is ready to harvest by early October. In time can crop heavily leading it to become biennial. Medium sized shiny red cider apples about 50-60mm diameter conical in shape with somewhat flattened ends and a thick stalk that does not really protrude beyond its basin.
Makes a pleasant medium bittersweet cider on its own and can be blended with other bittersweet & bittersharp varieties to make excellent ciders.
