A well known apple. Produces medium to large round conical apples largely covered brownish orange with broad red stripes. Nice flavour, sweet with acidity.

A triploid variety so though accepting pollen from other varieties will not provide any. High vitamin C content. Though keeping until December the apples will be more enjoyable if eaten before then.
