Charles Ross
Good-looking large dual-purpose apple. Flushed and striped warm orange red similar to Cox which is one of its parents. Sweet flavoured eater that bakes well.

Howgate Wonder
Apples are round conical in shape striped orange red and can be very large. Sub acid in flavour, easily cooking to a fluff. Can be eaten as a dessert apple as well.

James Grieve
A very well known dual purpose apple. Medium-large sized apples are warmly coloured yellow striped with orange. Of excellent flavour, sweet with acid balance.

Newton Wonder
Newton Wonder can be large and flat round in shape. Though sharp in taste they are also pleasant to eat. When cooked apples break down to a puree.
