A high quality medium to large conical apple. Skin brown-crimson / purple flushed over yellow. A result of a cross between Cox & Worcester Pearmain. Apples of excellent flavour – crisp and juicy with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity, and they keep well.
Has an upright growth habit as the photo shows. Prune to ensure outward growth without too much upward growth and the tree will be productive. A later flowering variety, but pollination should be alright if there are a number of other apples in the vicinity, one of them should overlap with its flowering.
