We supply rootstocks once they have been harvested and sorted, between February and March. We will email you an Order Confirmation when we take payment, before being getting in touch to arrange delivery or collection.
Pear rootstock Quince C – semi dwarfing
A semi dwarfing rootstock suitable for bush trees in situations such as small gardens, allotments. Good for cordons, small espaliers. Will grow to 2.5-3.5m (8-12′) eventually. Two year non organic rootstocks.

A semi dwarfing rootstock suitable for bush pear trees in situations such as small gardens, allotments. Quince rootstocks are nearly all compatible with pears enabling them to be kept small and yet come into cropping relatively quickly after 4 or 5 years, much sooner than on the vigorous seedling rootstocks of the past. Good for cordons, small espaliers. Will grow to 2.5-3.5m (8-12′) eventually. Pears enjoy a warm sheltered sunny position. Two year non organic rootstocks.
We will supply rootstocks from as early in February as we can to late March for delivery or collection.

Apple rootstock M25 – vigorous
A vigorous rootstock that in time will produce standard apple trees – trees with a canopy starting at 1.8m (6′). However they do not have to be grown as tall as this. Stake initially but in time stake can be removed. Good for trees where grazing with sheep and cattle is anticipated. Protect trees in the meantime as trees are growing. One year organic rootstocks.
Cherry rootstock Colt – moderate
A moderate vigour rootstock, cherries grown on Colt will result in mature trees 3.5-5.5m (12-18ft) tall. Two year non organic rootstocks.
