Pre-trained as a single-tier espalier, this tree is ideal for growing against a wall or fence. When mature, it takes up less area than a normal bush tree. See the Espaliers product category for details. Collection only, as it’s containerised and too bulky to deliver. Unlike most of our trees, we can supply espaliers all year round if we have them in stock.
A red sport of Falstaff introduced in 1986. Fruits slightly oblong with flattened ends largely covered bright red. Of very good flavour, crisp and juicy. Heavy yielding, disease-resistant and a good pollinator. Excellent flavoured fruits that keep well.
The small photo shows Red Falstaff with its apples still on the tree well into November. An excellent late dessert apple.
