Pre-trained as a single-tier espalier, this tree is ideal for growing against a wall or fence. When mature, it will take up less area than a normal bush tree. A very distinct apple with its round conical shape and maroon coloured skin colour. Another feature is that the skin often has a bloom which can easily be polished off. Sometimes grown as commercial variety but very good in the garden. Often heavily fruiting so if thinned early summer larger apples will be produced. The flesh is white and of good flavour with hints of strawberry and melon! Rootstock: MM106, M26.
