An unusual apple mostly found around Redditch, Worcestershire. The apples are bright green, smooth skinned and turn somewhat yellowish as they become ripe in late July / early August. They are small and somewhat elongated. Juicy and sweet. Ripening early they do not keep so should be consumed quickly. Rootstock: M26

Very good early eater – crisp juicy and sweet. One of the earliest dessert apples picked from mid August. Almost all covered bright crimson. The flesh can also be tinged pink around the edges. Consume quickly after picking as the apples will not keep. Disease- resistant and suitable for colder areas.

A very well known variety. The medium-large apples are warmly coloured yellow striped with orange. Excellent flavour, sweet with an acid balance. If picked early when sharp they make very good culinary apples. Round conical in shape they will not keep for a long time. Hardy and a good pollinator. Rootstock: MM106 & M26.

This is an excellent small dessert apple. Conical in shape the apple has bright yellow skin that is largely covered with a brownish russet with a small area of red flush on its sunny side. Of excellent flavour – sweetness with contrasting acidity.
