Tettenhall Dick
A historic pear of the West Midlands used for eating, cooking & perry. Small lemon coloured pears with sharp with some sweetness and plenty of astringency.
Pollination group – C, mid April
Picking time – late Aug / early Sept
Storage until – does not keep. -
Thorn
A small tree in maturity with an upright habit. Crops well, producing pears of a good size and producing a very good quality perry.

Thurston’s Red
Also known as Dymock Red. The pears are pyriform or turbinate in shape becoming yellowish skinned with a red flush.

Introduced into the UK from south eastern Europe and has become the most well known Quince variety. Large attractive pear shaped fruits that ripen yellow.
