Oval pears turn to dark mahogany. A culinary variety that does not soften enough to eat as a dessert but stores really well. A pear with a long history!

A long established culinary pear of high quality. When ready for picking the skin turns to greenish yellow with a dull red flush.

A historic pear of the West Midlands used for eating, cooking & perry. Small lemon coloured pears with sharp with some sweetness and plenty of astringency.
