Hinnonmaki Red
A hardy mid-season red gooseberry. Hinnonmaki Red reliably produces good crops of large, sweet, red berries of excellent quality. An excellent variety as a dessert or for culinary use. Bred in Finland for hardiness and disease resistance being resistant to mildew. It is a slow growing variety so suitable for small gardens. Non organic plants.

As the berries turn colour they can be picked & cooked. If left on the bush the berries will turn dark reddish purple of rich flavour. Bred in Finland for hardiness and disease resistance being resistant to mildew. It is a slow growing variety so suitable for small gardens.
