We supply rootstocks once they have been harvested and sorted, between February and March. You can advance order from December onwards. When you order we will acknowledge, then take payment within two days. We will then contact you once we are ready to arrange delivery or collection.
An autumn fruiting Raspberry, Heritage fruits from August until well into the Autumn. The sturdy upright canes produces firm yet juicy flavorsome berries. Self fertile. The canes will not need support in the growing season. Plant in rows 45cm apart.
The usual autumn fruiting Raspberry is Autumn Bliss but this variety is a good alternative. The photo is a generic photo of an autumn fruiting variety, not necessarily Heritage, we will attach one when we can.
For autumn fruiting raspberries a supporting framework of post & wire does not necessarily have to be erected. The annual growth can be self supporting on reasonably sheltered sites. If a tidier appearance wished for introduce post and wire support because it they grow well canes will tend to topple over somewhat under the weight of the fruit and height of canes espiecially if the site catches any wind.
