The round conical pears turn from green to yellow as they ripen with light brown russet. The flesh at its best is creamy yellow, melting and of excellent flavour.

Pre-trained as a single-tier espalier, this tree is ideal for growing against a wall or fence. When mature, it will take up less area than a normal bush tree. Unlike most of our trees, we can supply espaliers all year round if we have them in stock.

An excellent quality pear – creamy white flesh, melting, juicy, with a rich sweet flavour and balancing acidity. Medium sized fruit ripening to yellow green with pink red flush. A reliable cropper. Introduced in 1947 from Wisley, Surrey.
