A well-flavoured apple – nutty, aromatic. Adam’s Pearmain is a trouble free variety that keeps well into the New Year. Its golden yellow skin is largely covered crimson red with patches of fine russet . Apples have a distinctive conical shape – tapering from the base to a flattened apex.
A very old variety Adam’s Pearmain first arose around 1820 and always seems to crop well and reliably and always very clean and unaffected by diseases or pests. A superb apple with a distinct flavour. A partial tip-bearer but grows well as an espalier.
