Wisley crab has purple green coloured leaves and very large, plum-coloured, red-fleshed fruit. Apples are good for jams & jellies.

We supply rootstocks once they have been harvested and sorted, between February and March. You can advance order from December onwards. When you order we will acknowledge, then take payment within two days. We will then contact you once we are ready to arrange delivery or collection.
Wisley crab apple has rich pink flowers, purple green coloured leaves and very large, plum-coloured, red-fleshed fruit. Apples are good for jams & jellies with their sweeter taste being less sharp than white fleshed crabs. The apples are large, larger than other crab apples. Like other crab apples Wisley Crab is a good pollinator of other apple trees.

Butterball is an appropriate name for this crab apple. The warm butter yellow round apples gain a nice orange flush in the autumn.
