Similar to Cox but Sunset is more disease resistant and easier to grow. Heavy regular crops of smallish flat-round apples with golden skin striped red. Thinning in early summer will increase fruit size. Flavour very good – crisp, juicy and sweet with sharpness. Very good garden apple suitable for most areas of the UK.
