We supply rootstocks once they have been harvested and sorted, between February and March. We will email you an Order Confirmation when we take payment, before being getting in touch to arrange delivery or collection.
Pear rootstock Quince A – moderate
Quince is nowadays used as a rootstock for pears, being fully compatible with most varieties. Moderate vigour Quince A rootstock results in a tree of 4-5m (12-15ft). Suitable for all forms – bush trees, cordons & espaliers. Into cropping within 4-6 years. Two year non organic rootstocks.

Wild Cherry F.12.1 is a selected form of Wild Cherry (Prunus avium) that will grow large standard trees up to a mature height of 6m. Wild Cherry F.12.1 is good for traditional orchards. Used widely in the past before development of more dwarfing cherry rootstocks. One year non organic rootstocks.
Pear rootstock Pyrus Kirchensaller – vigorous
A vigorous rootstock that in time will produce standard pear trees – trees with a canopy starting at 1.8m (6′). However they do not have to be grown as tall as this. Good for trees where grazing with sheep and cattle is anticipated. Two year non organic rootstocks.
