Loganberry Worcester Early Thornless (Available March /April )
Loganberry Worcester Early Thornless can be traced back to the 1930s when they were grown in large quantities for the military for juice & canning. A distinct variety, they fruit earlier than the main Loganberry variety, mid June to mid July. Totally thornless for trouble free picking which can be daily as the plants come into production.
This variety came to our notice as a result of contact with an enthusiastic local fruit grower. ROOTED TIPS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION OR DELIVERY FROM EARLY MARCH. SEE THE DESCRIPTION AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE FOR DETAILS. 50% of sale proceeds will be donated to Magg’s Day Centre, Worcester
