Redcurrant
The Redcurrant is usually grown as a bush but can also be grown taller as a cordon or fan trained against a fence or wall. Grow on a short leg, planting at the same height as they were on the nursery about 1.5m (5') apart.
Grow Redcurrant in a sunny position in a fertile, well drained soil. Tolerant of partial shade, but fruits will ripen a little later and may not be as flavoursome as bushes growing in full sun. We do not grow Redcurrants ourselves, but are offering non organic bushes.
Discount information – the following discounts apply on total order quantity – 5% on 5+, 10% on 10+. Carriage based on quantity – see the Delivery page for more details.
Redcurrant bushes are dispatched between late November and late March when dormant.
We have ended sales for winter 2023-24, with dormancy coming to an end. We will refresh the availability for next winter (2024-25) from late July this year when we are certain about growth.
